Shen Yun Review: Susan Stafford, accomplished actress and humanitarian

“This play shows me bravery. Bravery because China is under siege, bravery because mainly the people are being stripped of their humanity. They are showing so much bravery by coming out and showing the Buddhist side of the film, which is very spiritual. And for me the Christian side. It’s not just one side, it’s both sides. But they both represent peace and love. For any one of these people—musicians, the people performing, the dancers, the pianist, etc.—they are putting their life on a line, as far as I see it. I give great applause and I thank Cindy and Randy for bringing me here tonight because it’s so spiritual and uplifting and our world is in trouble. We need this, we need you, and we need the people from China to stop being persecuted, which they are on a daily basis. God Almighty says it rains on the just, and on the unjust. Well, these people that are performing are just people. They are doing the right thing for the right reason. The motivation of the heart is what we look at. I just thank you from the bottom of my heart, and for us that are here that really need you, and more people like you, to do what you’re doing. That’s showing courage and bravery. I thank you. Xie xie.”
